Account Officer
Details:
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vendor Account Management
- Takes ownership of vendor account creation and filing for the Aba factory
- Clears, maintains and reconciles vendor accounts for the Aba factory
- Establishes and maintains supplier accounts for the Aba factory
- Financial Accounting
- Prepares VAT input on a monthly basis
- Maintains financial files and records
- Prepares and posts prepaid expenses schedule
- Prepares monthly provisions schedule
- Assists in asset registration and documentation
- Administers and processes all petty cash transactions for the Aba plant
- Processes and posts transaction journal entries as appropriate
- Assists in month end stock count
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Education
Minimum of First Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related discipline
Required Experience
Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role.
